Alcohol 99% : Ethanol of 99.9% purity
Denatured Alcohol is used in many personal care product types including makeup, lotions, fragrance, shaving, oral care, skin care, and hair care products where it functions as an anti-foaming agent, cosmetic astringent, solvent, and viscosity decreasing agent.
Distilled Water (H2O)
Distilled water is used if exceptionally high-purity water is required and is primarily used as a solvent in cosmetics and personal care products in which it dissolves many of the ingredients
Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)
acts as an antioxidant by preventing or slowing the deterioration of cosmetics and personal care products caused by chemical reactions with oxygen.
Propylene glycol
Propylene glycol attracts/absorbs water. It is a viscous, colorless liquid, which is nearly odorless but possesses a faintly sweet taste. Propylene glycol is one of the most widely used ingredients in cosmetics and personal care products, including facial cleansers, moisturizers, bath soaps, shampoos and conditioners, deodorants, shaving preparations, and fragrances.
